Mosquito surveillance helps us track the types of mosquitoes that can carry diseases like Zika, Chikungunya, and Encephalitis.
We set traps, collect mosquito eggs, and send them off to our Florida laboratory. There, we grow the mosquitoes, ID the adults, and update the database.
